Darrin has been an Advisor with the Katterhenry Investment Group since 2012. He holds his Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations, as well as his life insurance licenses and is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®). His mission is to help clients plan for a financial future that best aligns with their individual goals. He serves as the cornerstone advisor for the Bellefontaine office.

His wife, Katie, is a freelance marketer. Darrin and Katie have been deeply dedicated to the Logan County community since moving here in 2005. Darrin currently serves as a board member for the International Friendship Center.

In previous years, he served as Board President for both the Logan County Chamber of Commerce and the Indian Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Board President for the Rotary Club of Bellefontaine, and Chairman of the Board for Hilliker YMCA and YMCA Camp Willson and board member of Central Ohio YMCA. Additionally, he served as co-chair, with his wife Katie, of the 2020 United Way of Logan County Annual Campaign, which raised more than one million dollars for the Logan County community. Katie currently serves as a United Way board member.

Darrin believes that understanding his clients begins with understanding their environment, values, and extended families. He feels this connection is strengthened by dedicating his time and talents to the causes and organizations that matter most to residents within his community.

Currently coaching and attending his children’s sports and academic activities is how he spends his free time, in addition to snow skiing, boating, golfing, hiking, and hunting. Darrin and Katie live on Indian Lake with their two sons, Charlie (9) and Andrew (8) and their Australian shepherd/ Papillion mix, Sadie.
